I might be missing something here but - isn't the weight the same whether the blind is down or up?0

Can you show us a pic of the droopy blinds please
They are talking out of their !!!!!! as you know cause if what they are saying is true then not only is the material not fit for blinds , the other blinds in the same room would suffer too
Sounds like they haven't supported the slats properly in the middle which they should have accounted for as they knew the material being used and the length you wanted.
Sounds like your only recourse is to send them a letter before action and follow it up with small claims court
Maybe one final email letting them know what you intend to do , reminding them that they will be asked some awkward questions in court (material, design, heat etc) . This might refocus their minds and give you the outcome you want (what is it you ultimately want the outcome to be?)0 -

Its not the best photo as its a bit dark. However I play with the cord this is the closest I can get to them
being straight . They look worse when you stand further back. If I try to let them down a little at thee side the middle just droops further.

I know what you mean, OP. The arrangements of cord which we can see concertinaed in front of the slats in the photo will support each slat at three points when the blinds are down, but there are likely only two cords (which we can't see, as they'll be threaded through the slats not in front of them). When the slats are raised the weight is taken by these two cords (only), and the slats sag. When you pull the slats tight up to the top of the window as in the photo, they may not sag as much as they do when they're partway up, as the ends of the slats will press against the top of the frame and stop them bending as much.0

We have two “identical” blinds, one in living room, one in dining room. One sags in this way one doesn’t.0
