    £ Shops sell decent USB power supplies, a better purchase than some unknown brand/maker.

    I would guess these in the Pound shop are unknown brands/unbranded, and also made in China.
    Better though than buying from 3rd party seller on Amazon, probably.
    They will have some form of quality control that the unknown ones probably do not get.

    2A and 3A versions were well made and could run that output all day long without a fire risk.
