CAR INSURANCE - REFUSAL TO QUOTE?

Insurance renewal date 19 October.  Used MSE comparison facility, selected best quote from  Aviva Zero, went to site and provided all info requested - then message displayed refusing to quote based on the information I had provided.  I have checked and rechecked but cannot see what could have caused this.  Are Aviva likely to clarify if I call them? Should I be worried?

I wouldn’t be worried, the same happened to me when I was looking for some quotes, one company ( can’t remember who) couldn’t insure me, I just figured they didn’t want my business, ended up staying with my existing insurer..

Go to the comparison sites and you're likely to get a whole bunch of insurers not quoting - it just means you're not in the demographic they're interested in doing business with

Aviva Zero looks to be quite a niche insurance product incorporating some sort of carbon emission offsetting.

Aviva will have thresholds and limits to the number of policies sold based on their business model of the cost of offsetting.  You appear not to meet the requirements to be offered a policy, move on.

Thank you all for the reassurances. Never had this before and was feeling rejected!  Back to the drawing board.
