When to do meter reading?

I've done one in the 1st of October and it's already generated a bill. My tarrif ends or is valid until the 7th of October and then a new tarrif with more experience standing charges applies. Should I do another meter reading on the 7th? TIA

Never does any harm to submit additional readings.

As you weren't on the Government capped rate you didn't really need to do one on the 1st October but it's not done any harm.
