Is it still possible to get the Amex Green Charge Card?

Title, really.
If one was to get the Basic card, would it be possible to subsequently upgrade to the Green card? Or is that completely withdrawn from the market?
Don’t ask why I specifically want the Green Card. I got reasons.

Looks like it's been withdrawn from UK.
Come on you Irons0 -
It's a lovely design... but I believe the answer to your question is 'no'. Amex's rule is you can (if they're up for it) transfer between cards offering the same rewards currency - Basic doesn't have a rewards currency, but Green does (MR).[Deleted User] said:Title, really. If one was to get the Basic card, would it be possible to subsequently upgrade to the Green card? Not likely to help the OP I accept but just for full accuracy.
The International Currency Card is available in Green and for Personal customers but it has to be in Euro or USD so again may not meet the needs of the OP0 -
No longer open to new applicants.DullGreyGuy said:

Missed that, however what it actually says is "no longer available directly from American Express". Would imply that it is available via other routes. According to Head For Points they are still open for new customers but only via certain private banks (they dont list the banks)WillPS said:

Ah, bummer. You’re right, it’s likely to be classed as a different card family. Well, the green boat has sailed for me sadlyWillPS said:

I wish it was still possible to add x Gold and y Green supplementary cards on a Platinum account. But that seems to have been removed, too.0 -

It still talks of Platinum being able to give Gold and Green cards as supplemental card holders but the "may be eligeble" could mean its limited to those holding the old Charge Card version and not the modern credit card version.0 -

Platinum Card (charge card, NLA) allows 1 free Platinum supp + 4 Green/Gold coloured supp cards (without the benefits). Platinum Card (credit card) has the same 1 free Platinum supp but each additional supp is chargable, no option to get another free supp without benefits.https://www.headforpoints.com/2022/08/04/swap-american-express-platinum-charge-to-credit-card/
(under 'One reason why you SHOULD NOT swap – the loss of four supplementary cards')
