Seeking Monthly Payment Travel Insurance

We have a few pre-existing medical issues and are looking for travel insurance policy which can be paid monthly, to avoid a large payment. Do any companies out there offer this, or is it too much of a risk?

Several banks offer travel insurance in a package of benefits for a monthly fee.We are £15 monthly for cover for both of us.0

If there are pre-existing conditions then they might charge a fee to cover those conditions - in my experience you would pay this fee by debit card in one lump sum - this would be a continuous authority payment so be careful if you change insurance providers or do not need the insurance next year.NoodleDoodleMan said:Several banks offer travel insurance in a package of benefits for a monthly fee.We are £15 monthly for cover for both of us.0 -
Any potential customer would need to contact their new prospective travel insurer to determine what additional fees might apply - we were presently surprised to learn that our insurer was happy to include our pre-existing conditions at no extra cost.retiredbanker1 said:

We´re in a similar position - currently have travel insurance through our bank account with Lloyds, and paid extra (upfront sum) for pre-existing conditions.
However, wife was admitted to hosp recently, and had a pacemaker - insurance have now declined cover for all her conditions - Fortunatly prior to this admission we had booked a cruise for Jan, so that will be covered.
So after Jan we need a different annual insurance policy.
I haven´t done a quote yet for any as for annual policies you can´t start them more than 3 months away, but did notice Avanti do monthly payments, albeit with interest.

"Fortunatly prior to this admission we had booked a cruise for Jan, so that will be covered."Does this not become a new condition that needs to be declared ?0
