Not really cheap or anything but...
I went the other day and noticed that for 2 adult tickets its approx £25.
If you adopt an animal you pay £30 but get the adoption certificates etc, and 2 adult tickets to go see your animal!
Next time i think i will just pay the extra £2.50 each to help the animals!
Loved the Pygmi Hippo by the way!

Chester Zoo do something similar, £40 to adopt an animal gets you two free adult tickets for a further visit. I think the basic cost of an adult ticket was £13.50.0

or buy a gold card for £22 and this gets you free entry for a whole year
also gives you free entry to Bristol, Chester, Edinburgh, Marwell, Paignton and Rotterdam zoos
you also get a book of vouchers which gives you free entry for two guests, some free animal feed, and discounts in the shops, and best of all, a free glass of mulled wine, at their christmas specials
kids membership (£15), gives all the above, except the mulled wine, they get to visit father christmas and get a toy instead0
