I'm a female biker and I'm looking for some overtrousers after getting soaked yesterday. I'm a size 16-18 and I can only find one pair or Ladies waterproof overtrousers the RICHA Ladies Motorcycle overpants. I'm wondering if these will be my best option or if any bigger ladies have experience with Men's overtrousers. Thanks.

To be honest you would be far better asking

But is really a case of trying stuff like this on.

Assume you've seen the Richa ones at Sportsbikeshop. Infinity seem to stock a few other brands. As born_again says nothing beats trying them on. You could book a trip to the NEC bike show where there's always plenty of clothing kit for sale and you can also eye up the latest bikes like Ducati's Multistrada V4S Grand Tour, a snip at just shy of £24k.

As a biker I used to buy Hein Gericke motorcycle overtrousers before they folded. Do a lot of miles in Sunny Scotland so always carry a pair. Now I buy heavy duty waterproof work overtrousers which are considerably cheaper, usually the Site brand from Screwfix or B&Q (same parent company).

I look for soft feel, leg zips, elasticated waist and no pockets. Last pair cost about £12 (last year) and just do the job. With Screwfix there's no problem returning them so you could buy a few sizes and keep the ones that fit.

There are a few specialist that make and supply female motorcycling clothing, like Ladybiker.co.uk but to be fair, they aren't cheap.

My other half kitted herself out at J&S Accessories who also do a range of Ladies clothing that's pretty good quality and has been designed to fit.
