Pitched roof ridge quote?

Hi there

Repair pitched roof leak. Small leak, cement on the ridge has gone, needs uplifting and repointing. 

Terrace house 4m width.Concrete tiles and ridge.

No other works apart from removal/disposal and any tiles if broken.

I'm getting quotes for £500-£750

I reckon it's half a day's work. Does the above quotes look right. This is just labour not including any ridges if they need replacing completely.

Has the cost of scaffolding been budgeted for, or do they intend to do all the work off ladders ?

The quote would have probably been based on a day rate for two people, so £500-750 isn't too far out - Cement & sand is a minimal cost so would not expect to be charged extra for it. Same again if only one or two ridge tiles need replacing. If all 4m need replacing, passing the cost on isn't unreasonable.

Any flashing on parapet walls or chimney ?

Make sure they use code 4 lead or thicker if any of it needs replacing.
