Study abroad for one term - USA - funding

My Daughter has just started a degree. In her 3rd year she gets the opportunity to study in the US for one term (Sept-Dec). I can't find any info on how the funding works. DD believes there's no more additional tuition fees to pay. How does the maintenance loan work? Currently she receives the min for studying in London. Does anyone know or can point me in the direction of where to find out.
