That is a nice addition. Presumably it applies to spaces as well as the main account? Has anyone received an email from Starling? I wouldn't have known about this if it wasn't for you amazing people.1

No one seems to have mentioned the rate only applies to the first £5,000... Good for people who use a Starling current account as their main account but nothing to get excited about for anyone else as far as I can see.
I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.2 -
Some people are never happy. It's a current account and I use it as a current account so it's nice to get a bit of interest on my current account money before the shopping is done and the bills are paid.ircE said:No one seems to have mentioned the rate only applies to the first £5,000... Most of my savings are kept in 5%> accounts.3 -

Indeed. It's a current account so it should only contain money that is going to be spent by yournext pay.day.

Well I applied for an account with Kroo and this was rejected. I assume this is because I have fraud protection marker and they couldn’t be bothered or didn’t know how to deal with it. Maybe Starling it is!0

I saw the message on my starling app today. It means I don't have to transfer all spare money over to savings now so I am happy. Better than the 0.05% which was a joke and hardly worth bothering about.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
