I have a Samsung heat pump dryer, but haven't had it long enough to fairly comment on the energy usage. It comes with a 5 year warranty. The machine takes a little longer to complete drying cycles, but clothes come out noticeably softer. Hth.SPC # 1151

After our last condenser dryer failed (only 3 years old), we bought a Blomberg Heat Pump dryer. It came with a 3 year warranty, and haven't had any problems with it going on 5 years now. It's got the kit to drain to a washing machine waste connection, but we use the tank (which luckily is at the top)..1

Very pleased with our AEG of 4 or 5 years, only change I would make if buying another is looking for one with a condenser that can be removed for cleaning.1

anyone ever see condensation from their machines?
looked at the samsung one
all - any of your machines ever leave a damp feel to the clothes?0 -
No problems with condensation with either heat pump dryer or old condenser dryer as we have an extractor fan in the utility room where the machine is. You can set the Samsung dryer model that we have to how dry you'd like the clothes to be. It leaves the clothes completely dry and very soft.SPC # 1151
