How long does it take for Atom bank fixed 1 year to withdraw your money to an external account?
E.g. if account maturity date (i.e. 1 year after opening) is 2nd October, when would I get the funds into my external account? Is it instant on the day or does it take several days? Especially helpful if you have experience withdrawing money from Atom fixed savings account. Thanks!

Immediate…..my last one was in overnight in the early hours of maturity date. One thing Atom do very well is fast payments. Shame their interest rates are pants now.2

Thanks! Surprised you consider the atom interest rates very low - I think the're over 5% and even the top savings accounts only pay around 6%. Any others you're aware of that pay a lot higher interest percentage?jaypers said:Immediate…..my last one was in overnight in the early hours of maturity date. The proceeds of my Atom 1Y Fixed Saver, due to mature on Sunday 1 October 2023, appeared in my current account at 01:51 that day.
Cannot fault the speed of their transfers tbh.0 -
I agree. Would use Atom again in a heartbeat if only they would increase their rates back to something sensible.wiseonesomeofthetime said:The proceeds of my Atom 1Y Fixed Saver, due to mature on Sunday 1 October 2023, appeared in my current account at 01:51 that day.
