Garden furniture house

On 17/7/23 I pre ordered Nova Garden Furniture Olivia Grey Weave 6 Seat Oval Dining Set × 1 for £1233.09 from Garden Furniture House paying for it on my debit card.
I was told this would be in store on 02/08/23 and I would be contacted to arrange delivery. On 18/8/23 I emailed them to ask where is my delivery. On the 21/8/23 I was told there was a delay so I told them to cancel my order. They told me the order had been cancelled and a refund had been issued. We are now on 15/9/23 and I still have not received my refund.
After more exchanges of emails and Garden Furniture House telling me they have refunded my money I still don’t have my refund. They just keep on saying it’s been refunded but they still have not refunded it. Again I got another email on 25/9/23 saying we are very sorry for the time this has taken it is unacceptable on our part and we have now refunded. Still no refund.

Heya.This is my advice. Maybe see if you can buy more garden furniture elsewhere from now on. I know that you can buy cheap garden furniture at a garden centre. I’ve never heard of that company in addition. I’ve always gone and purchased furniture at a garden centre instead. Alternatively you can see if you can bag a nice deal online. Another method of getting furniture is at a table top sale. Also try composing a polite email to trading standards to express your concerns. That way you will at least get quicker favourable results. It is worth a try. Good luck.0

I think the OP is more interested in getting their refund than in now purchasing garden furniture. My personal experience of garden centres is that their furniture seems rather expensive (as do most of their plants!). The general public cannot approach TS directly, you have to go via Citizen's Advice. TS won't act on individual complaints, they wait until they have several against a particular trader before investigating.thara1996 said:Heya.This is my advice.
