Hard Drive Recovery Service

Anyone know of any good Hard Drive recovery services?  I am in Glasgow, tried a few local places, but not having any luck.  Any around the UK that are good?

    There's a company called https://www.cheadledatarecovery.co.uk
I've not used them but when I had an issue (*), they seemed very professional

    Seconded also.
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.

Yet another poster needing learning....or rather getting  it by experience. No insult intended but .....have you a backup or more and reload disc from backup.?
Much more convenient and a lot cheaper than paying  for data recovery. If not do make it a future action to backup.

Also ( not answering the original post I know ) but are you certain that the drive cannot be repaired yourself ( with help if needed ) and then go on from there?

Have you tried any recovery software yourself before handing it over so quickly to someone else?

I had an episode last year. Recovery software got a lot back but there was also a lot that it didn't get back.

Before spending £hundreds on data recovery, I'd take it to a local electronics repair shop. It might just be that the disk itself is fine and it's simply a cap that's blown on the mainboard or something along those lines.
