Volunteers for shelters during christmas period

Hi,

does anyone know if there are shelters in London/reading/OXford area looking for volunteers during the christmas and new year period?

I am free durign those days and would like to help out at a shelter doing soup runs/preparation of food/anything manual. i've tried goodling, but cant come out with much.

If you see this link you'll see info on how to help, that's your best bet. If you can't get anything that way try calling the National Domestic Violence helpline on 0808 2000 247 they'll have a list of refuges some of which might need a hand over Christmas.
