Cashplus Credit Card - Accepted But Account Under Review/ Further Docs. Required.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of the same thing I am experiencing with Cash Plus?......... I was accepted via a pre-approval offer and have documentation telling me that I have a £750.00 credit limt. My card has arrived and the pin and I activated the card in the app which said I could use it within 15 mins. Off to the supermarket I go only to suffer the ebarrassment of it being declined. I have called them and it is "under review". whatever that means. I can't understand getting sent a card with a pin and a credit limit for it then to be under review it makes no sense and the communication should have been better as I was mortified at the checkout. Surely if you have passed thie checks and been issued with a credit limit, card and pin all the required checks have been done. It is really disappointing to say the least and a bit bewildering too.

Has anyone ekse had an experience the same as this with cash plus and what was the outcome of this review please. Many thanks,

Can't say i've experienced it but I do think raising a formal complaint would be worthwhile, outlining the above embarrassment. If this is how they mean to go on with conducting their business then it may be worth considering ending your relationship with them (assuming you haven't got anything seriously adverse on your credit history records / CIFA's etc).
