Hi i am looking for recommendations for a screen protector for my Samsung S22+
I used to use Ringke but they no longer stock them and Tauri don't stock them also.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

This stuff is amazing. Hybrid Screen Protector. I've had it on an S21 for nearly two years and it's still immaculate and it feels so smooth. Goes on without any bubbles and no problems with the fingerprint reader.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Do Samsung phones still need screen protectors? Can't remember the last time needed to put one on our phones (non-samsung) and not had a broken screen in years despite the Mrs regularly dropping hers.1

They don't really need them....The S21 came with one factory installed and I just replaced it with the above. However, it's the first phone I've had one on in years. That said the feel of the Hybrid ones are better than the glass screen, so I may use them again....DullGreyGuy said:Do Samsung phones still need screen protectors? If they're not needed then why add them? The last one the Mrs had all chipped around the edges (sharp) and the protector had cracked making reading the screen difficult. She was changing the protector every 3-6 months but originally held this up as the reason she needed one. To me it just showed the protector was weaker than the screen and she was getting little cuts and struggling to see the screen for nothing. As probably proven that we are now 4 or so years on, plenty of drops and not a single mark on the screen.RumRat said:

Seems odd to spend money on something you dont need and actually means you end up spending more in a cycle of buying something pointless.1 -
HI Everyone, I use the screen protector solely because i have a spinal cord injury and drop things without warning so feel a bit safer with one on. I have dropped phones down concrete stairs before now and the screen projector cracked saving my phone screen. My current protector is a Ringke glass film thing and infarct it has lasted a year now where as before with normal solid Glass protectors i was changing them quite often. I also have a Ringke Fusion X case which has raised sides and raised bits around the camera so that also helps. Thanks

People use them for different reasons.....That said the ones I recommended (because the question was asked) can't chip around the edges, you probably had a 'Tempered' glass one that I've never found to be satisfactory so don't usually use one. However, as I said these feel even smoother than the original glass, so, I've kept it on and it's still immaculate. The reason I tried these is because they are something new, so far impressed, so I'll keep it on.DullGreyGuy said:

All that said, you are right, the screen is probably better than 99% of the glass protectors on sale.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Thank you for drawing my attention to this - shall certainly be looking out for a screen protector from now on. I wish I had seen this thread earlier as yesterday I dropped my phone and shattered the glass screen. As a matter of interest can anyone advise me about whether it is necessary to give he repair shop my phone passcode? Apparently they need it for the screen repair. I am naturally very cautious about this but would appreciate some advice.0

My phone (Samsung) comes with Maintenance Mode, restricts access to pre-installed apps only and no access to personal data. Don't know if other phones have this option?ShellBob said:As a matter of interest can anyone advise me about whether it is necessary to give he repair shop my phone passcode? Back up the phone before handing it over, just in case.0
