Engineer error led to loss of heating

Options
Hi,

I have electric storage heaters and after the visit of an engineer to install a smart meter (which failed) I have been left with no heating. I have been in contact with my supplier who initially said it was nothing to do with them and only responded after a negative Trustpilot review. It has been over one month now with little resolution in sight, having been waiting for an assessment into what kind of appointment I need for approximately 10 days. I have a 3 year old in the flat which is also prone to mould and needs at least some level of heat to prevent it re-emerging. I know I have to wait until 8 weeks before I can go to the ombudsman but I’m loosing patience. What can I do?
