When i bought my bungalow one year ago EPC rating is D. Recently done entire renovation - New insulation with ceiling, under flooring heating to all rooms, all room with leds light. And already property is double glazed, combi boiler hasn't change. If i get epc re-certification now, will i get my home EPC rating will upgrade from D to C? i am not selling the property and next year required to re-mortage,is it worth to do epc upgrade? please advise

Most EA's I have spoken to have said they are pretty much a waste of time. You only really need one if either you are renting out (currently has to be at least an E), or looking to sell and the buyer might prefer a C over a D. Other than that, save your money. Re-mortgage won't be affected.0

Even on a BTL, you dont need one for a product transfer. Only a remortgage (and most people tend to do product transfers at the moment)

How many points did the original EPC suggest recommended changes would make ?Extra insulation & low energy lighting rarely add more than a handful of points. So if you were a borderline D before you started, you might scrape in to a low C. Aside from bragging rights, those extra points are not going to change mortgage repayments or council tax. Just sit back and enjoy lower energy bills. If you were to apply for a grant to install a heat pump, an up to date EPC may be advantageous, or a poor one might attract extra funding - If/when the time comes, read through the criteria and make your decision then. Of course, if you sell within the next 9 years, an up to date EPC could sway a potential buyer. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
I believe if you look at the EPC online it shows you the recommended steps in order, and what change to the rating each will make if they are followed in that order. Might at least enable you to work out for yourself where you are at if this is just a curiosity question, rather than something which is actually needed.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
