Still dark, air is feeling warmer no rail forecast just cloudy.

Dinner was a couple of slices of cold pizza, we have family member in hospital, but hopefully coming home today.

Work yesterday was ok, today just a half day so should be ok.

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC - sorry to see you've got someone in hospital, hope they get home soon.
It's damp and dreary here, I don't think it's going to improve much.
I'm going to D#bbies this morning to meet a friend, then on to either Newcastle or the Metrocentre, I saw some curtains at N!xt online when I was browsing, so  want to see them in the flesh,as you might say.
Gers, hope you've got your car back.
Dp1, fingers crossed that you at least speak to a Dr soon. Your dd2 certainly gets about!
How are you TA, no worse I hope.
Hope your Dd is given a contract soon Coxy.

Morning folks. 

Yes, got my car back yesterday after a little wait. I set off at 7.30am, the company phoned me at about 8.30 to say that it'd be ready early afternoon. I decided to carry on and do various things in the waiting time. The weather was intermittently horrible with bright periods. Anyway, hire car returned and they took me to the body shop, paid the bill, drove to the nearest Marks to pick up some food and was home by 4pm. Worn out but happy. I watched GBBO in bed. 

Despite a good start to today the forecast is dire so I'll just hunker down and let it blow. Storm Agnes is due in this afternoon, it'll be time to watch TV or recordings. 

I hope that our poorlies are mending, hugs to them. Happy Wednesday to all.

Morning all

Its a bit dull and overcast here but meant to brighten up later, I am off to collect Rob and take him to his work it’s nice to see my ex colleagues for a while, we will stop on the way home to do some shopping and get his bag of sweets 🍬 

Dinner tonight will be cottage pie which is already made and frozen I will get it out after this, I will just have to do some veg later to go with it.

DD has the day off today so she will walk the pups later. House is tidy and there is not enough washing to put a load on.

TA I hope you are feeling a bit better now xx

Good news Gers that you now have your car back.  Hope the storm isn't too bad.

Morning folks.  I am still with you. . I have got over the worst of the symptoms now I think but I am left feeling very weak and tired. My legs don't feel to belong to me and I still have no taste or smell or appetite.  Another lazy day on the sofa looms. The jobs can wait until I feel up to them. I have the GBBO to watch as I slept through most of it last night. 

I think it's the calm before the storm here as it's a very pleasant start for us. Not forecast to last sadly!

Morning all; sunny here so far.

Jackie O is back in hospital; she has posted on her other thread for those who want to know.

I had a productive day yesterday, involving a bit of food shopping, cutting the grass, ironing and getting a large awkwardly shaped present wrapped for son in law's birthday. DD came over late morning and stayed for lunch. She's now on maternity leave, with about 2 weeks left to go, and it can't come fast enough for her!

Today I'm off to help at the Community Larder, so will see what arrives in the deliveries. It's fascinating what we get sent and there's always a good choice of fruit and veg. Last week I brought home a large cabbage, strawberries, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms and the inevitable courgettes.

Morning everyone
Quite a nice morning here - the wind is meant to get up late afternoon. I'm not at work today - I had another spell of dizziness this morning. I sat up in bed and it was as if the bed was a rollercoaster and I had to hang on! It was very unpleasant. I've sent a message to the doctor and asked for an appointment - oh, shes just sent me an appointment for 5.25, so that's good.
I'll just have a lazy day today - last night I started sorting some DVDs intending to send them to Ziffitt or Music Magpie but they either didn't want them or were valuing them at 13p each. I'd rather take them to a charity shop even if they just make 50p on them.
I was meant to have my Covid booster this afternoon but I'm going to change it - just in case it makes me worse.
Right, better get dressed. Hope everyone has a good day x
