Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere.
Just got a new TV and I'm not sure how to tune the Sky(+) remote into it so that I can control volume and turn TV off from it. Would be grateful if anyone could help.
Thanks

OMG Keggies,
Thankyou soooooooo much i've had sky for 9 years and had to use 2 controllers (tv controller for volume) VVVVVVV annoying.
I've just followed your link and used code etc and now my sky remote controls volume :j
I know it's really sad but it's one of those things that really annoys me when you turn tv over with one controller then you have to go on a search for the other one to turn it up/down.
Whoop whoop
ThankyouBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -

I've had various TVs since Sky was installed. The volume has never worked on any of the replacements.
At the moment we have a very cheap Durabrand from Asda.
Here are the codes:
0584, 0065, 0634, 0742.
Code 0634 works for me.
My little one broke the Durabrand remote last night and we can now use the volume control on the Sky remote for the first time in years.
What a great post this is.
Thank you all.0 -

I've been trying for ages.
If you press the home button or the button on the cable TV remote to bring up the home page, press 9 for help and info, then 7 help with your remote control, it gives you details there.
However whereas Sky remotes can be programmed to control most the functions of the TV, the cable remote can only control the sound. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Just Google "sky remote codes" and you'll find truck loads of sites with information.0
