apologies, in that case, from their FAQ's
If you wish to set up a new Direct Debit, you'll need to print off our Direct Debit mandate and return a completed copy to Ecology. If you wish to amend the details of an existing Direct Debit (e.g. increase or decrease the amount, or suspend or cancel the payment), you can do so by sending us a secure message.

It was about 3 or 4 years ago when I opened it, can't remember exactly what the process was. If my memory doesn't fail me, I had to do bank transfer to open the account and then set up direct debit for consecutive deposits. It took very long time for direct debit to kick in.harz99 said:Hi, is it possible when applying online to set up a direct debit as part of the process, or is it download a form complete and send back via post?...sorry to ask but I can't find the answer after searching.1 -
