Judgement for Claimaint (in default) Civil National Business Centre from DCB Legal Ltd

Hi,
I have had parking tickets and then letters from DCB Legal Ltd which I have (probably stupidly) ignored as I thought it would all end up as nothing. One was in a shopping centre and the other my son was doing a job and parked at the company.
I have now received a Judgement for Claimant (in default) which says I have to pay £288.56 (I have 2 separate ones that have come at the same time). It says if you ignore this order your goods may be removed and sold or other enforcement proceedings may be taken against you.
Is this the end of the road now and have I left it too late?. Do I have to pay this and will anything else happen if I ignore it?
I have read the newbie threads and templates but to be honest I find it all too complicated. Is there anybody I can pay to deal with this on my behalf (if cheaper than the fine). Or should I just pay them?

I just received this in response to an email I sent
Good morning,
Thank you for your correspondence.
The judgment has the electronic county court seal so has been issued through Money Claim Online, part of the county court system.
I hope this is of assistance. If you need more information please contact us.
Kind Regards,
David Wall

It's too late if you ignored the Claim Form.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are you telling us that you received a Letter of Claim and an N1 County Court Claim form and just ignored them? Why?
If this is the case then, unfortunately, you have nowhere to go with this unless you are prepared to invest £275 to apply for a set aside. However you can probably only set aside under CPR 13.3 which is discretionary.
You could try arguing that the claim should never have proceeded and should have been thrown out by the CNBC because it failed to comply with Civil Procedure Rule 16.4 and the Practice Direction to Part 16. (Knowing how woefully inadequate DCB Legal claims are).1 -
I just thought that it was like years ago when you just ignored everything and after the court papers nothing happened, but reading this forum I started to worry. It doesn't even look genuine.
B789 where would I write that?0 -
You just need to pay urgently if you haven't read the NEWBIES thread (which tells you about set asides, but you don't have any grounds and have done no prep/reading so - based on what you have told us - this is a step too far for you now).
It's not just about "writing something",
It was that easy last month but you missed it.
Sadly, you ignored a claim form. Even years ago NO-ONE EVER ignored a claim form.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok thanks for your help, I have a month to pay it so will do so.0

If you get another claim about private PCNs DO NOT PAY IT.
But come here in time next time. You'd have paid nothing at all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
