Hi all, can anyone reocmmend any firms I can approach to get a quote for transporting a kayak paddle from Scotland to England please? It is likely to be just over 2m in length by 60cm by 10cm and weigh about 1.5kg. Most firms are charging over £50. thank you in advance

Hi,try HERE for a price.1

Just did a quote based on the info given and it would be £31.80 dropped off at a PF depot, £33.70 collected.Unfortunately things that long, irrespective of weight and other dimensions, ain't cheap anywhere.
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.
Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.

Yep, takes up a lot of space they would otherwise use for several other parcels, so they charge accordingly.molerat said:Unfortunately things that long, irrespective of weight and other dimensions, ain't cheap anywhere.
Probably still cheaper than driving it there yourself though, and takes a lot less of your time!1
