Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off nmlc
Hope you soon feel a lot better TA. My daughter has just messaged me to say she has Covid. She works in a school so may have caught it there. She is not feeling very well. All the family visited her yesterday, so it is a waiting game.
Sun is out here so I am going to hang out a load of washing.
Has anyone heard from Jackio recently?
Hope you all have a good week. x8 -
Morning all, we had the heavy rain last night too but it seems drier and calmer now, don't think it will last though. Dad was his usual self yesterday, unsympathetic and selfish, thankfully he went home early to watch the rugby. I fell asleep on the sofa during the afternoon in the middle of an old boring film that Dad wanted to watch.
I'm not sure what today will bring or what we'll have for tea, might have to wing it !
TA sorry you have the dreaded Covid, seems this variant is doing the rounds again.
Hope everyone has a good-ish day.
Take care all, stay safe and well if you can.

Hi all and thanks for the start nmlc x
I’m in the office today. My train was cancelled this morning so I caught an alternative and had to walk 30 minutes at the other end. Glad to be getting my steps in early! Brought breakfast, lunch and snacks with me today and DH is cooking smoked salmon and pea pasta tonight.
Sorry to hear DH has work issues @annabanana82 – does he recognise the impact that is having and is he doing anything about getting something else? It’s very difficult when it’s affecting your home life x
Sorry you’re still not feeling well @TravellingAbuela - this new variant is making itself known. At least you have had your jabs x
Wall to wall rugby yesterday so I missed out on SCD. I really like Nigel Harman so will be rooting for him even if he’s terrible!!
Take care all
Coxy

Went out this morning to count cash with my SA officer. It was playgroup when I arrived at SA - really busy - lots of dads there as well as mums. While I was waiting for the officer to arrive back from a pastoral visit - I spotted a mum with baby sitting on her own so went and chatted - it was her first time there.
Mr F has gone out to Arg. - found that a voucher he had - thought - ran out 30 September was the 23 - he is hoping they will accept it. If they don't - he will write a letter of complaint to head office.
SA community manager thinks that Mr F will qualify for attendance allowance so we will have a go.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@TravellingAbuela - I finally got Covid too after all this time middle of last week. My one roommate has it also (and possibly a second, but he claims he doesn't). Hope you feel much better soon. I'm using a throat spray but it doesn't help much. Still on a very limited diet. Maybe it will help me with the weight loss any way.7

Yes NANCY going off your food is the only benefit of catching Covid! Xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"6
