Student bank account for second year

My son did a foundation year last year and didn't get round to opening a student bank account. He's now in his first year of the regular degree but second year of student loan etc. Are there any student bank accounts available to him? Can't seem to find any.

What's wrong with any student bank account?
Recently, I came across this one offering £100 cashback - https://www.nationwide.co.uk/current-accounts/flexstudent/
And I don't see anything excluding second year students.
