Which window restrictors for sash windows?

Can anyone advise on which of these restrictors is best for wooden box sash windows with a cord (see pic)? Someone said get side-fixed but I can't see how that's possible with the cord there. (NB that's a thread on the cord not a crack in wood). Any likely issues with face-fixed? Which I assume goes on the wooden part of the window.
We're looking at one of these but open to other brand suggestions.
https://www.mightonproducts.com/category/angel-ventlock/ We live in a conservation area so had to get these windows.

We have to get restrictors for two windows (double glazed wooden box sash windows with cords). This is to prevent them opening more than 100mm to comply with building regulations, as the sill is below a certain height - other windows are fine.

Depends upon how much you want to spend, your thoughts on looks & how often (if at all) you might want to open the window past 100mm. Pretty much any of https://www.mightonproducts.com/category/sash-window-hardware/restrictors-and-security/ (or similar products from other suppliers) should do the job.0

I've just bought a house with sash windows and have been looking at these https://defendersecurityproducts.co.uk/shop/hardware/solon-slide-jammer-2-pack/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9deiBhC1ARIsAHLjR2BZfp7HuCHYh5Vkft0Edjv67yRSu1P6YVU5JeeWpvYzqyfeyd-CXS0aAoxXEALw_wcB1

I can see these would all do the job in general, but wasn't sure if there's anything I need to consider with our windows specifically. I've had recommendations for the side-fixed ones, but don't see how that's going to work with a cord in the way.0 -
the cord won't be in the way ,they install into the top sash stiles1

Cheapest option is to screw a block of wood to the frame. I drilled holes and used 6 inch nails on our old upstairs sash windows when the kids were young.0

What's the finish on your existing furniture - chrome? Brass? Satin?0

But, the only one so far that actually allows for what you presumably want - unrestricted & easy opening to a certain point? The others seem to only 'lock' the sash in a fixed position?0 -

And yes the requirement is for no opening past a certain point.1 -

And yes the requirement is for no opening past a certain point.Yes, the Angel. It seems it needs rebating into the timber.Face-Fix Angel Ventlock
The Face Fix version is fitted into the stiles of the top sash one on each side. The units are single action, so fitting two ensures compliance with ASTM F2090 17. The unit is primarily factory-fitted as access to the sash is required. However, provided the sashes can be removed easily, the Face Fix version is also suitable for use where the sashes have already been installed.
