A weird one...
I bid on an item on ebay and won it last night.
Today I went to pay and it was marked:
Except I didn't ask to cancel it.
The seller cancelled this order due to the following: Buyer asked to cancel the order.

The seller is either telling porkies, or they cancelled the wrong order.1

I've contacted ebay and the seller. The item is back up again - same SP & annotated "No Reserve!".0

I had very similar a few weeks back but the seller said problem with buyers address so I contacted seller and told her my address had been the same for 12 years with no problem. Again the item was put back up so I bought it again, the seller cancelled again and messaged me to say there was a problem with the item and it disappeared from E Bay.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

It'd be nice if you could block/ignore sellers.

You can block sellers. Go to "Advanced" next to the search at top of page, scroll down to "Sellers" section to "Exclude" add seller ID.

This happens to me quite often when sellers are not happy for how much their item sells for. I usually leave negative feedback for wasting my time. There’s tools in place to have a reserve price or they could start the Auction at a desired price rather than waste people’s time watching and bidding on item.
I’ve read an article a few months ago about a seller cancelling an order that went through Auction and buyer sued the seller under the premise that he was the rightful owner of the item once the Auction ended. Buyer won and seller was slapped with a few thousands he had to pay out of pocket.0 -

Thanks.
Do you have to do that for each search?0 -
Do you have a link to the article please.
