How does something apply?

Hello
When an overpayment comes through for Universal Credit how will this work please.
I basically have had a PDF in my journal a UCD 367 I understand that part.
I am wondering, as will be on Universal Credit till November I think as I think my claim is going close, but wondered how they'll take the money back it says in installments and I don't need to do anything, but wondered how it will be coming off? Would it be under what we take off you or a new paragraph saying overpayment?
I can see my documents gone from Carer Element to LCWRA for some periods and I get my normal Universal Credit if I was entitled 23 of each month as my assessment period ends 16th the month.
I just want to be sure to know what to look out for in terms of where these installments will be coming from on the statement as from June 2023 I've noticed a significant rise and that but not sure if I will get another PDF in my journal later on or not etc.
Thanks

It should be on your statement under 'What we take off (deductions)' → 'Debts and loan repayments'.

As @Spoonie_Turtle says, whilst you are on UC, any overpayment will be gradually deducted back through your monthly UC payments. These 'deductions' will show on your UC statement each month. How much they can take back each month is defined in law, and may vary depending on how much UC you are entitled to.If your entitlement to UC ends, then any remaining debt gets passed to debt management, who will then contact you to arrange a repayment plan - at this point you can decide to either make a payment pay back any remaining debt in full or you can set up a monthly direct debit payment to continue regular repayments.0
