AQUA Fraud - Account locked incorrectly.



  • Not a help with your current predicament but I'm fairly sure I've read on here that if you buy something out of a positive balance on a credit card you lose S75 protection because it's not actually bought on credit.
  • Update to anyone following, 

    Aqua reveiwed my complaint and closed it down, telling me to go to the Financial Ombudsman. 

    I have gone to the Financial Ombudsman who have taken on my complaint and have advised me that this may take around 3 months for a reply. 

    I have contacted Newday again, requesting my credit balance refund and my account to be closed, to they have informed me they will not be actioning anything now on my account or trying to resolve this as the FOS are involved,

    Slightly different from my FOS email that say " Please let us know if the company you're dealing with makes an offer "
