  • I’ve fitted both and found them very similar, I wouldn’t say one is better than the other so it’s really down to what you like the look of.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
  • I'm not familiar with Symphony, but I am with Howden's and I don't like them
DIY kitchens is quite similar quality wise, the range I got from there recently was slightly better IMO and cheaper than the ones I had seen from Howden's (but I realise there are many different ranges available, and if I had been inclined to haggle I could have got them down a bit)
But the main difference I think was DIY kitchens were much easier to deal with.
what I don't like about Howdens is the sales tactics, there's none of that with DIY kitchens. at Howdens they will use salesmen to try and get as much money out of you as they think is possible, if you can be bothered you will be able to haggle them down to a reasonable amount over the course of a few weeks
or you could just get the best price from DIY kitchens straight away, wait about a month and it gets delivered. no hassle
  • Hillbilly it’s a new house so I take it they are restricted to these two choices?
