Hi. I drive a company car and have been sent an invoice for a fine and admin fee paid by the lease company for a parking fine.
I was staying in a hotel and submitted my car reg details on entry iPad for free parking.
I’ve spoken with the hotel and been told that I need to appeal. However, according to the parking fine company I am unable to appeal as the lease company have paid the fine. This seems very unfair and  I feel like I’m going in circle trying to find out how I can sort this.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Your argument is with the lease company.

This wasn't a fine and it is important never to refer to it as a fine.
That is significant if your lease doesn't allow for the lease company to pay speculative invoices on your behalf.

You need to read your lease.

When you have a moment, can you please edit your thread title to be more descriptive of the problem in hand.
A title of 'Advice please' tells no one what this thread is about. Thanks.

    Which parking company?

I see we now have a much enhanced thread title - Parking charge advice please.
That should allow people interested in 'parking charges' to home in on your thread to the detriment of others.   ;)

You should be aware that you never received an "fine". Check your lease documents and see what it says about speculative invoices from unregulated private parking companies. Most lease documents refer to "fines" or "penalties" from the police or other authorities. An ex-clamper bottom-dwelling private parking company does not fall under either of those.

Tell me which lease company as I may just try and send them some speculative invoices and see if they pay out. What they should have done is respond to the scammers and provided your details as the "hirer" of the vehicle and thus absolved themselves of any liability.

Personally, I would put a stop on any payment if it was by credit card and dispute it through the credit card company as an unauthorised payment. The PPC and the hotel have no interest in your predicament.

As already mentioned, your dispute is with your lease company as they have not followed protocol.

    There's no such firm.

    There is one calked ParkMaven.

You also need to update and tell the Hotel Manager (or the UK Head Office or CEO if it is a hotel chain) that you are being refused any appeal and this farce is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH and they need to step in and insist on a refund, or you will sue the Hotel for causing this loss.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
