Thanks all for your input and questions.
@Umkomaas There was 5 days from date of claimed parking offence to date of the notice.
@patient_dream according to the notice it states Station Shopping Car Park, so I think it must be Vastern Road.
@Fruitcake Thanks for all the advice.
@Coupon-mad. No I only answered as the registered keeper and referred to the driver as a the driver did not exit the vehicle etc. They did write and ask if I was the driver and I didn't respond.
@fisherjim It may have been there, the driver doesn't fully remember as it was dark and they are not local to the area. They only remember pulling in to an area like this and pulling over to the side of the road and dropping off someone who was heading for the train station.
Thanks again for all your time and input, it's been a great help.0 -
Well if it was where my GSV image shows that would be the back loading area for those shops in the small shopping park and would be controlled by UKPC like the front. But GSV shows that there are no signs what so ever in that entrance at all, UKPC always produce pristine copies of examples of their signage as evidence from their masters file, otherwise known as lying! Just be aware.1

If the NtK states a ticket was placed on your windscreen, then UKPC have accessed registered keeper data from the DVLA far too early, and in breach of their KADOE contract with the DVLA, as well as potentially breaching DPA/GDPR rules. Time for a complaint to the DVLA, but before you do that, can we see a copy of the NtK, redacted of your personal and VRM details, but please leave all the dates on the letter showing? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

OK, Parkopedia shows this as the car park entry from Caversham Road (Exit in Vasten Road)
https://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carpark/station_shopping_park/rg1/reading/?arriving=202309281330&leaving=202309281530
This car park has come up before where DCBL discontinued.
If you did drive into the Caversham Road entrance, there is NO sign warning people and the signs inside are the typical UKPC rubbish, located high on lamposts with tiny letters that you need binoculars to read
You need pictures, as per your user name you are in Bristol, let me know and I can take pictures for you
