Can you recommend a basic camping gas stove which takes small bottles?

In general, I would imagine that driving to a location and remaining there for several days, possibly preparing meals for several people, would be a much more common usage scenario for a campervan than for an HGV. That's not to say a battery electric solution couldn't be useful in some instances, or as a supplement to a fuel stove, but I reckon it's much less likely to be the only solution needed.0

Just as an update for anyone else who might be interested in the calculations, the campingaz 907 style bottles turned out waaaay more expensive than simply getting the little gas canisters. No idea why economy of scale didnt work out in this case.I have gone with the cheapo £14.99 gas stove and £7.99 for 4 gas canisters from winfields outdoors. At this price the gas works out at around the same price as calor for 6kg, going from memory at when I calculated. That is to say nothing of the horrendous wastage of metal for the gas canisters but one must choose their battles and these give me more of a feeling of safety as I can just keep the stash of bottles at my mums in the shed for now and just take out a couple with me in the van for daily use.0
