My weekend's shop has added up to £101.66, between the market, supermarket & butchers. More than I'd like, but ok in the grand scheme of things because we shouldn't need much else this week; there are only 3 of us until Wednesday! There will be lots of leftovers to go forward too, as DD2 & I are away for a week from next Sunday but OH will still need feeding - something other than fish fingers, oven chips & supermarket sausage rolls, preferably! But DD1 should be able to help, some of the time.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)10

Soontobeoap said:DH has just been for a top up shop from Aldi for family coming at weekend. He didnt get receipt or register qhat the codt was. 🤯! My best guess is £20.00! As I use these figures to see if I am getting any better at this year on years this is not helpful!
Someone suggested adding a little porridge oats to mince to make it go further. I have just done this and it tastes delicious. No difference apart from the fact that with a few added veg it will make an extra meal for two!
Have just checked and my email was definitely registered when I joined Tesco app. No email for me. 😕10 -
@elsipac thanks for keeping this going. New monthly target of £100 for one adult and two hungry cats - food, household and toiletries.
I totally blew the budget last month at 112.68/65. It's the second month in a row the budget has come in at over £100. So, i'm going to increase the budget to £100 and do a complete stock take and see what I can do to bring it down to £85ish by January9 -
Please could you put me down for £250 that's for me and my son.
It's going to be hard this month as I'm not down for any shifts at the fridge and hopefully having my operation this month- will need to top up my food at hospital as gluten free options are jacket potato or roastDebt free date 23rd march 2009 🥳Autism is my super power 🏳️🌈 🌈✨8 -

Hi all, I'm joining in for the first time in quite some time! Budget is below:
£200 please!
It's higher than it should be, but I'm aiming for a slow reduction.Novuna personal finance 0% 4-year £518/£1866Credit card debt free! Now on the journey to mortgage free.7 -
£295 again for October please for two vegan adults (£270 monthly groceries and £25 for stores but lump them together for ease).
Sleeves getting rolled up to do battle with October! Have made a plan of how much of my stores items I need to purchase so December spend is low and feeling quite determined to not be swayed by bargains and offers as the freezers are fit to burst - still mainly with green beans and courgette but the fresh ones have come to an end so we will start eating the frozen ones now.

Hi everyone.I
Sorry for not keeping up with posting, life seems to have gotten away from me.
I managed to get a bulk shop in through an online delivery, I managed to not go I st my £30 budget the last 2 weeks and saved £5 each week.
I've decided to not use the food club anymore as I'm paying £3.50 per week and a lot of food I'm giving away as I cant use for different reasons, such as being vegetarian and am being given tins of fish and corned beef and there's no veggie options.
