Salary Sacrifice Electric Car

Hello,

After some advice please.

I receive a car allowance at work which I'm taxed/NI's on.

Work are going to launch an Electric Car scheme through salary sacrifice with a 3rd party.

My question is, whether my car allowance is taken into consideration and i will loose this if going for a car.  Is this something i need to pick up with my employer? or is it standard it will be given up?

You need to take it up with your employer... 

Some places may take the lease payments out of the car allowance and then salary (if you choose a car that the allowance alone doesn't cover) and others take it all from salary and leave the allowance in place. Clearly taking away the allowance and taking the lease from your salary would be the worst outcome for you but still run the numbers with the BIK to see if net it works out better or not.
