Have a tax credit award for this year (appx £500) but not actually receiving payment as have overpayment from a couple of years ago.
Will we still be entitled to the £300 payment?
I've tried googling but not entirely clear
Thanks

Would it not be simpler to give is an extra £17.31 a week for a year?0

I received a payment from Uni Credit in August but had a nil payment in September. Qualifying period for second COL payment overlaps August and September so was wondering if I'll qualify for it?0

The qualifying period for the next CoL payment for UC is you must have been entitled to a payment (or later became entitled to a payment) for an assessment period that ended between 18th August and 17th September. What dates do your assessment periods cover?

Bit confusing 😕You need to look at when your assessment period ended because it needs to end between the qualifying period, 18th August to 17th Sept. Therefore your qualifying period will be 31st July to 30th August because this assessment period ended within the qualifying period. If you were entitled to a payment in September then you qualify.1
