You also have to keep in mind that if you trim the branches they could scratch you or your car.Left alone apart from a light tidy they won't.Not sure how they affect your broadband/telephone. That should either come down a phone line or underground fibre.TV depends where the aerial is and what receiver it's connecting to. You can adjust your TV to receive a signal to another receiver in a more friendly direction.The power line if likely to be affected by the trees could be a problem but you should contact the supplier to say so. They should come and inspect if it's their property. Ditto the telephone line. BT should be informed..........in my case I decided not to because of the hassle. Would have gone down the 'how should I know' route if anything happened.But you really should talk to the neighbour first. Them finding people poking around and perhaps telling them to lop off some of their trees would be a nasty surprise if they weren't aware.
