Account Switched Twice....Will Withdrawal Follow the Accounts?

Sorry stupid question............Partner has switched accounts twice from her original account with Chase to Halifax to RBS.  Now question I am trying to ask here is:

We are expecting a withdrawal that would have gone to her Chase account (we didn't get a chance to update bank details before the organisation sent the withdrawal they instigated from their side).  Will the withdrawal follow the account switching trail and eventually get to her RBS account? I'm assuming it will but just wonder if anyone could confirm :)

If the CASS was used it should be captured by the payments system that sits between the banks and be redirected direct to the RBS account. If the CASS wasn't used it'll either end up in a suspense account at the bank that receives it or get bounced back to the sender.
