    If you are put off by the cost, look at the cost of hiring one compared to the cost of buying one and then selling it at a later date. The loss is usually less than the cost of hiring one especially considering that you are not time limited so aren't rushed by the rental period.

    You'll mostly likely want it for an extended period of time anyway. Once to spot where all the issues are and then once again to check the results after you've fixed everything.   

    I got the TOPDON TC001 (new) for £200 and it regularly sells on ebay for £130-£170
