Homebase Kitchen Warranty Advice

I’m really hoping someone can ease my anxiety!
I purchased a kitchen 1.5yrs ago and in short four of the kitchen fronts have started to warp.
they aren’t near the sink.
I contacted Homebase and have been advised they want to send a third party out to inspect.
I’m fine with that if they are independent however I’m concerned they aren’t.
Has anyone experience with them? As I feel a battle ahead which I have no desire for.
My neighbour purchased a kitchen with them too at same time and she is having same issue with a different range. So I’d highly recommend to stay clear if anyone is looking for a new kitchen!
Many thanks in advance

The warranty can put whatever stipulations in they want to including that inspections are to be carried out by their approved contractors, and work and materials are to be first approved by them. The warranty is not your basic rights, but are in addition to your rights. If you’re seeking a resolution from the Consumer Rights Act, then the inspection can be carried out by someone else, but you’ll have to pay the inspection and report fee and try and claim it back. I don’t believe that there is anywhere in the law that says the inspection has to be independent, but happy to be corrected. In all honesty, I’d wait to see what they say when they inspect the kitchen. They should inspect the kitchen to see what is broken and what needs replacing, and they’re allowed to do that! If there’s other issues then obviously there’s alternative solutions and recommendations but so far I think you just need to let it play out to see what they end up doing.0
