Morning all
TA I am so sorry to hear about Sparkle 🥲 she bought such joy to your life and you to hers, it is really like losing a dear friend, I am heartbroken for you xxx
Its been raining here all night and the sky is looking very black atm I think it’s meant to rain for most of the week, my lady is not coming today as she has an appointment so I have arranged to collect Rob and meet up with his best friend and her carer we will go bowling and get some lunch out.
Dinner tonight will be shepherds pie which DD will make as she is off today we will run a dinner up to mum as she is feeling a bit out of sorts atm and it’s no bother to make another one.
I have put a wash on this morning and will hang it on the airer before I go to work.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all, feels a bit humid today and heavy rain due later.TA
I am so sorry to hear about your lovely Sparkle but you have done the kindest act of love for her, poor little cat. I know how much you will miss her. (((Big hugs )))
Yesterday saw us watching DGD in her football match, which they won. She made some good saves and the team were pleased with her. Whe we got home I did some more sorting of my craft stuff, which I'll take to the Hospice shop when I've finished, noy quite there yet. The sorting all came about because I couldn't find one particular die cut- still haven't, but am starting to think perhaps I gave it to my cousinAnyway it's all looking a lot more sorted. After that we called in on a friend to give her some unwanted items to pass on to her niece. She was pleased to see us as her DH was out for the day - hadn't intended to stop but she insisted on making coffee so we sat down for half an hour. Luckily tea was soon sorted, I'd got some bavette steak from my Ocad o order, and some chunky chips. Sticky toffee pud for the men. There is some fish for tonight.

Morning all; the sun is trying to come out here.
TA; so sorry to hear about Sparkle. She had the best of lives with you and leaves lots of happy memories but you will be missing her immensely.
Today DH is taking a spare duvet to be washed in the larger machines at our local laundrette. I need some milk and a few other bits so will pop out to the shops in a while. We'll have a mince type concoction that only involves one saucepan tonight and hopefully makes enough for tomorrow as well. I also offered to makes cakes for a birthday on Wednesday so might do that today; am regretting that now I don't have a dishwasher!
I also have a couple of new tunes to learn before Thursday so should be able to spend some time on that today.
Happy Monday everyone.10 -
Morning everyone
TA I'm so sorry to hear about Sparkle x
Raining here this morning and has done all night - the garden at nursery will be soaking.
I had a lovely day with little one yesterday - we went down to my mam and dads in the morning and then played with lego for most of the afternoon. Also had a lovely cuddle on the sofa reading books.
More beautiful photos from eldest DD this morning, she is now in Lombok.
I've got some jobs to do this morning before I go down to work at 11, so I'd better get going.
Hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Back again with a laptop problem -
For the last few days I can't access my sky emails on Microsoft Edge.
DD suggested I install Google chrome instead which I've done but now I haven't got my favourites or my passwords can anyone help?7 -
So sorry to hear about Sparkle TA, our furbabies bring us so much joy but unfortunately sadness as well. She had a lovely life with you and you made the correct but difficult decision. x6

Morning all, we're back home after having a great 2 weeks with lots of rest. We had fabulous weather too but now it's back to rain, rain, rain again.
Today there's lots of sorting of van stuff to do and putting it away. I have some lots of washing to do too but as there's no chance of putting it out to dry and our damp awning festoons the spare bedroom at the moment it will have to wait for a bit.
TA I'm so sorry to read about Sparkle but you made each other so happy in the short time you were together. Extra hugs for you today x
Take care all
nan xx

Hi all and thanks for the start nmlc x
So sorry to hear about Sparkle cat @TravellingAbuela – it’s really heart-breaking but you made the kindest decision. Have a (((hug))) on me x
I’m in the office today. Had a disturbed nights’ sleep as there was a terrific thunder and lightning storm, but the air feels much fresher today. Dinner is courtesy of DD who is cooking sticky chicken. She is helping at a school with some autistic children, but no sign of a contract or any wages yet. I’ve said she should go to the office after school is finished to see what’s going on.
We had a nice day shopping yesterday. I had some vouchers for my birthday plus some leftover from Christmas(!) so got a new swimsuit, some skincare and make up, a t-shirt, a pair of flip flops and a new pair of sunglasses (just from H&M) as we are going to Majorca in a few weeks’ time for a short break with friends - much needed.
Welcome back to @IzzyBee and @nannywindow – glad you enjoyed your holidays x
Have a good day everyone.
