Vacuuming after refurbishment

We’re going through the same at the moment. Another +1 for the Vax wet and dry. Mine has stood up to an awful lot of abuse over the last 6 months and just keeps going. It’s an absolute animal.1

I managed to break two while renovating!Mnoee said:Henry/numatic. I have the 'Charles' version which is both a larger capacity and does wet and dry, there's a few options at different price points. They're basically indestructible and very popular across a range of industries for that reason - for everyday 'normal' usage the common complaint is that they're heavy and bulky.
I've only had a kitchen refurb, but it dealt with that just fine. He's also been sucking up fallen leaves/fuscias in the garden for years with no complaints.I now have a Titan wet & dry from Screwfix for heavy duty cleaning and sawdust extraction. So far it’s done a good job and was cheap to boot. Accessories feel cheap though and I wouldn’t use it for day to day cleaning but it’s good for renovations.
Have also used a Dyson for some minor renovation work and that’s been fine. I do agree that the filters need a lot of cleaning though.1 -
Thank you to everyone for the advice. Got lots to think about.
