EOn Next Refund - How long ?
Just had my price change summary - for the October period.
But it had no recalc of DD despite the tariff rate dropping c9/8 % peak off peak on my E10 - a similar level to July's when they did drop the DD by another 10%.
(Interestingly EOnNext have also decided not to pass on the slight rise in Ofgem SC for Oct - about 0.3p a day on EM MR, or 0.4p on EM SR per day)
Anyway - the option to get a partial refund was back on my account summary page - underneath the current credit amount.
I've regretted not taking the amount in April a couple of times - so decided I'd take some back - despite the time of year.
They recommended about £100 less than my total credit - and if requested it - would also put my DD back up - to just below my price change summary cost / 12 use at Oct 1st rates.
I selected slightly less than their max - I used a couple of 100kWh less last year - than some previous years - so left a little extra c£40-50 - just in case.
Anyway - Timing
At one point they said 2 days to approve (despite being less than max suggested - and despite already adjusting the DD amount shown on line as soon as I requested it) - so would have thought that was a given.
But in one place it said money back in 10 days - in another it said 2 days to check and approve - and 2-3 days to pay out afterwards.
So anyone know - is it c5 days - or c10 ?
Is one for them to send - and the other for it arrive cleared ?

I've just done this - request submitted Saturday morning (so possibly not even looked at for 48 hours) and money in bank account on Thursday, in my case the fourth working day.1

I've just done this too. Request submitted on 25th August, acknowledgement on 29th August, money in my bank on 6th September.1
