Pay later NCP

I parked in an NCP car park last night and the queue for payments was awful as one of the machines was broken. There were tonnes of signs everywhere saying you could pay later using a website so I drove out (barrier less). Now the website is saying ‘No invoice found’ when I type in my car reg. Having looked at other threads this morning I think that when this happens you get a parking fine through the post. I am still within the 24 hours it claims you can use ‘Pay Later’ - is there anything I can do to pay my parking fee so I do t get a fine? If I go back to the car park can I pay the fee?

It's not a "fine" and you haven't received an invoice either. Have you tried calling them (good luck getting through)?

In the meantime, read the Newbies/FAQ thread to see what you need to do should you receive an invoice from them.

Are you sure you are trying to pay in the right portal? Sounds like you are on the PAY A PCN page.

Eitger way, grab a few screenshots today and save them to photos, as evidence and when you get a PCN do NOT appeal as driver, telling the story of what happened!
