I suppose that depends on how much you want to save money!
It seems a great deal of effort to enter all the details a number of times ( especially when you have 2 cars and three drivers )!I usually check any deals on https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ https://www.gocompare.com/ and https://www.comparethemarket.com/. I haven't had a competitive quote from DirectLine in years so I don't bother with them any more.1 -
Most allow you to save the details and so its only a pain the first time and then just a case of checking nothing has changed in each subsequent year.DE_612183 said:Any views on which is the best one?

At a core they are broadly the same, MSM historically was the worst because they estimated premiums rather than using live API calls or screenscraping the providers websites but they did eventually catchup with the rest of the market.
It's the same as anything, for a particular individual any one may produce the lowest quote and ask a dozen people which gave the cheapest and you'd find each one mentioned at least once. As per the comment above, they say they dont check DL any more because they're too expensive but millions say the exact opposite based on how many customers buy from them each year (and some here recommend for cheap premiums).1 -
As previous comment, you only really have to make the effort once. I have 2 cars and use Compare the Market and Go Compare. I have been with Go Compare for the last few years as I do not want any more meerkats, and I don't go to the cinema.
Go Compare gives you £250 towards your excess cover, which you can use against lower premiums.1
