I've been given one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dewalt-DCB547-FLEXVOLT-Battery-DCB547-XJ/dp/B07HHB6ZSD?th=1
Do the batteries fit any Dewalt tools or just certain tools ?

Will work fine in an 18v tool just be a bit heavy!
     Nice gift!

Nice battery at 9ah! It'll last ages but the downside is it will be heavy at 1.6kg

id also pick up a cheap £40-50 4ah battery for lighter usage when you don't want to do your wrist in over longer periods of time

it's a flex volt so should fit both 18v and 54v tools so most modern ones

You could use it to power a small bike?

Hii, Nice score on the DeWalt DCB547 FLEXVOLT battery! These batteries are pretty cool because they're versatile. They work with most of the newer DeWalt 18V XR and 54V XR FLEXVOLT tools. So, if you've got tools in those ranges, you're in luck. Just keep in mind, they won't fit into the older DeWalt tools that aren't part of the XR or FLEXVOLT line. Basically, if your tool says 'XR' on it, you should be good to go!
