Sky Signature versus Sky Ultimate

Options
I pay for Sky Signature. My wife wants Netflix Basic which comes with Ultimate. How much would the Sky upgrade be? Is it cheaper than subscribing to Netflix directly?
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

I don't know how much the basic Netflix package is with them directly. Sky charge £7 for Ultimate on demand, if you have HD with Sky you get that Netflix package, if you have UHD with Sky you get the top Netflix package. If you don't already have HD with Sky and need to add that they try and charge the ridiculous amount of £9, so £16 for basic Netflix from Sky sounds way too much. Hopefully this makes sense.

OP needs to clarify whether they have Sky+HD or Sky Q.
If its the former then to upgrade they'll have to swap their hardware as Netflix isn't on Sky+HD, so if that's the case and they  don't want to swap, decision solves itself - pay Netflix directly and watch it on some other device.

You can still have Netflix via Sky and watch on any device though. I have Sky Q and Ultimate and have never watched it through the Q box. I watch Netflix downstairs on main Smart TV app and upstairs my daughters watch it on their firesticks.

Thank you. Would my wife be able to watch Sky Netflix on her tablet without using Sky Go?

Yes, I use all the Netflix apps as normal. If you already have Netflix all that happens is Sky take over the billing. Sky will send you an email after you take out Ultimate on Demand with instructions but it's very easy. As I said I've never watched Netflix via a Sky device or app.

It's not actually Sky Netflix, it's just Netflix. You can't watch anything on Netflix via Sky Go (or vice versa).

Thank you. I have Sky Q with the HD (but not UHD) option.

That is the crux of the matter. I had not realised that it was just Netflix.
