First Direct £175 bonus - query

Hi all,
Anyone opened a new FD account and ha sgot the cash bonus? Wondering if anyone can advise... 

It says:
 Pay in £1,000+ within three months.
- Wait 28 days for the £175.

... do i have to have £1000 in there for the whole 28 days? Or can I just pay in £1000, take it out a day later, and i will still get the £175?

It can go in and come back out straight away, it doesn't need to stay in there for any period of time.

The £1000 doesn't have to be in one amount you can do it in bits

In theory the £1000 could be paid in (and taken back out again!) in £1  x 1000! but perhaps that is a bit excessive!

As per the above posts, and I believe it was around Day 23 when the bonus got paid into my account.

Is it okay if the money was desposited before the switch happened or does it have to happen after? I've transferred enough in but it was before the switch not sure if I should move a £1000 through again.

I know with Natwest etc they don't seem to mind if the money is deposited before.

The money can be deposited before the switch if you want so if you've already deposited £1k you don't need to do it again.

Cool, the switch completed a few days ago so hopefully it doesn't take too long to get paid.
